Lava stone is believed to support the Fire element and creative energy, which particularly promotes masculine energy, power and passion.  Lava beads can be used as essential oil diffusers due to their porosity; essential oils must be diluted with a carrier oil before a small drop is placed on a few beads sparingly, for gentle diffusion throughout the day.  Lava stones are waxed for protection, however all alcohol-containing products such as lotions and perfume should be avoided.
